Our client is currently seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Accountant to support one of our clients in managing complex accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to leadership
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and accruals as needed
- Assist with audit preparation and serve as a point of contact for external auditors
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Review and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and assist with special projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and management teams
Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
